The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Telangana, is set to release the TS ICET 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment result today, August 11, 2026. Candidates who completed their web option entry within the stipulated deadline can check their allotment status once the result goes live on the official counselling website, tgicet.nic.in. While the declared date for the result is August 11, an exact release time has not been confirmed by the authorities, and candidates are advised to keep checking the portal through the day.
The TG ICET allotment list is prepared based on the web options exercised by candidates, along with college-wise cutoffs, the reservation policy, and seat availability. Seat allotment under TS ICET remains purely provisional at this stage and only turns into a confirmed admission after candidates complete tuition fee payment, online self-reporting, and physical document submission at the allotted college.

Key Counselling Dates
| Event | Start Date | End Date |
|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 Seat Allotment | August 11, 2026 | August 11, 2026 |
| Payment of Tuition Fee | August 11, 2026 | August 14, 2026 |
| Phase 2 Counselling | August 17, 2026 | August 25, 2026 |
What Happens After Allotment
Once the result is out, candidates allotted a seat must pay their net tuition fee online and complete self-reporting on the portal between August 11 and August 14, 2026. Missing this window will lead to automatic cancellation of the provisionally allotted seat. After successful fee payment and self-reporting, the portal generates a Self-Reporting Acknowledgement Receipt along with a unique Admission Number, which candidates should download and keep safe.
Importantly, physical reporting at the allotted college is not required immediately after Phase 1. Candidates planning to participate in the Final Phase for a seat upgrade can wait, since physical reporting only takes place after the Final Phase allotment, between August 22 and August 25, 2026.
Options for Candidates After Phase 1
Candidates satisfied with their Phase 1 seat simply need to pay the tuition fee, complete self-reporting by August 14, and report physically to the college later in August — without exercising fresh web options in any subsequent round.
Those hoping for a better seat in the Final Phase must still pay the Phase 1 fee and complete self-reporting by August 14, 2026, to keep their current seat safe as a backup. Fresh web options for the Final Phase will need to be submitted separately on August 18 and 19, 2026, since choices entered in Phase 1 do not carry forward. If a candidate secures a higher-preference seat in the Final Phase, the Phase 1 seat is automatically cancelled, with the fee paid earlier adjusted against the new allotment. If no new seat is allotted, the original Phase 1 seat is retained, provided the fee payment and self-reporting were completed on time.
A Few Important Rules to Note
Candidates whose net tuition fee comes to zero due to full government fee reimbursement must still complete online self-reporting to confirm their seat — skipping this step, even with no fee due, can result in seat forfeiture. Additionally, voluntary seat dropouts or cancellations are not permitted once physical reporting after the Final Phase is completed.
For any technical issues while accessing the portal, candidates can reach out to the DTE helpdesk at 7660009768 / 7660009769, or via email, or contact the TGICET Admissions Convenor's office in Masab Tank, Hyderabad.
Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials secure and act promptly within each deadline window, since delays at any stage — fee payment, self-reporting, or physical reporting — can result in loss of the allotted seat.
