The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS), University of Delhi has started accepting applications for the CW category. This is part of the NEET UG 2026 Delhi Quota admissions for medical courses. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website at fmsc.du.ac.in. The deadline to upload all required documents is July 29, 2026.

CW stands for Children and Widows of Armed Forces personnel. This category also includes dependents of Para Military and Police personnel.  The admissions cover MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses. These seats are part of the 85% Delhi Quota at Delhi-based medical colleges.

Who is eligible to apply?

The CW category is for the dependents of certain service personnel. Applicants must be in one of the following groups:

  1. Dependents of Defence Personnel
  2. Dependents of Para Military Personnel
  3. Dependents of Police Personnel

Applicants must have passed NEET UG 2026. Their Class 11 and Class 12 education should be from Delhi, with the school’s postal code between 110001 and 110099.They must also reside in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.

Documents Required for CW Category Submission

All documents must be in legible PDF format and self-attested by the candidate.

  1. Coloured passport-sized photo in JPG or JPEG format
  2. NEET UG 2026 Admit Card (PDF, up to 1MB)
  3. NEET UG 2026 Score Card (PDF, up to 1MB)
  4. Class 11 Marksheet (PDF, up to 1MB)
  5. Class 12 Marksheet (PDF, up to 1MB)
  6. Educational Concession Certificate in DU format (PDF, up to 1MB)

Conditional Documents (based on eligibility)

  • Pension Payment Order Certificate (PDF, up to 1MB)
  • Gallantry Award documentation (PDF, up to 1MB)
  • Service or Discharge Book (PDF, up to 3MB)
  • Medical Board Proceedings (PDF, up to 1MB)
  • Battle Casualty Certificate (PDF, up to 1MB)
  • Supporting claim documents (PDF, up to 1MB)

How to Apply for the CW Category Registration

Candidates should follow these steps carefully, as no changes can be made after final submission:

  1. Visit the official FMS DU portal at fmsc.du.ac.in
  2. Open the CW quota UG document upload notice.
  3. Click on the DU forms portal link to start the registration process.
  4. Enter your name, NEET roll number, and All India Rank.
  5. Fill in personal, contact, category, and schooling details.
  6. Enter the Pension Payment Order number if applicable.
  7. Upload all mandatory and applicable conditional documents.
  8. Check the form once and submit it before the deadline.

How Will the CW Verification Process Work?

The verification process consists of several steps, each handled by a different authority.

  1. MCAC (UG) first checks the basic eligibility of the candidates.
  2. Eligible profiles are sent to KSB or WARB under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
  3. KSB or WARB confirms the CW priority and category status.
  4. The final verified list is shared with MCC for counselling.
  5. Ineligible applicants are marked as Outside Delhi candidates.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Download the CW category notice from fmsc.du.ac.in today.
  2. Obtain the Educational Concession Certificate in the DU format.
  3. Scan all documents into PDFs within the specified size limits.
  4. Fill the online form carefully at the official DU portal.
  5. Submit the completed application before 11:59 PM on July 29, 2026.
