There were allegations of paper leak which were made on the National Testing Agency on conducting the National level examination. There were claims that the question papers of the NEET examination were leaked before the exam. The claims stated that the paper leak gave an unfair advantage to few candidates.

There were a large number of news amounts of cheating and a use of unfair means. The news reports stated that the cheating was an organized fraud at the examination centers. Few cases of impersonation in the exam came out too.

Few students were awarded extra marks due to loss of exam time or technical issue at the center. Most important thing that happened this year was the lack of transparency. The National Testing Agency has been dealing with a huge amount of political pressure since the examination went to the Supreme Court of India last year.

Last year, at the Supreme Court of India, the National Testing Agency has to agree that there were gaps in the integrity of the examination process. After a huge amount of public protest and the coverage by the media, the Supreme Court agreed to provide a certain decision. The Supreme Court said “.....there were paper leaks on a minor level but these small scale paper leaks can’t lead to a re-exam process…..”

This year, there were incorrect questions in the exam paper and server issues at several centers. After allegations of paper leak on X platform, previously twitter, came out , the National Testing Agency made it very clear that the question paper was not leaked and the testing agency knows where the paper with the aligned registration number was and they can check if the paper was leaked?

Few days later, the National Testing Agency after getting the paper leaks cases investigated tweeted that the question paper is cancelled due to reasons they’ll get investigated. Students are aware that the re-NEET would be held on June 21, 2026.
