The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon share the counselling schedule.This schedule includes the process for medical and dental admissions based on the NEET UG 2026 results. Candidates can check for updates on the official website at mcc.nic.in. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results on July 16, 2026. About 11.21 lakh candidates passed the entrance exam this year. The MCC is responsible for counselling for 15 percent of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats It also takes care of admissions to deemed and central universities. The counselling schedule is expected to be available in late July or early August 2026. Registration will start on the official website shortly after the notification is released. Candidates need to meet the qualifying cutoff to take part in the process.

The MCC handles admissions to many of the most popular medical seats in India. The counselling process involves government, deemed and central institutions, and covers both MBBS and BDS courses.

NEET UG 2026 Counselling Registration Fee Structure
Candidates have to pay a registration fee along with a refundable security deposit. The costs vary depending on whether the seats are under AIQ or in deemed universities. The registration fee is not refundable in any case.

NTA released the category wise qualifying marks along with the result. Only candidates meeting the cutoff can join the counselling.

Registration begins once the MCC releases the official notification. Each step must be completed before the given deadline. If you miss the deadline, you will not be eligible for that round.
