The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has started the registration for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 2026 Phase 1 counselling.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has started the registration for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 2026 Phase 1 counselling. Candidates can sign up on the official website, which is lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. The registration window is open from July 5 to July 10, 2026. The counselling process includes admission to the three-year LL.B. and five-year LL.B.courses.Those who qualify must pay a processing fee, upload their documents, and complete verification.The tentative date for provisional seat allotment is July 24, 2026.

Registration Fee for TS LAWCET 2026 Counselling

The processing fee is based on the candidate's category. Payment has to be done online during the registration window. This fee is not refundable.

Documents Required for TS LAWCET 2026 Counselling

Candidates should have scanned copies of all required documents ready before they start the registration. If the scans are not clear or missing, the verification process may be delayed.

Required documents include:

  1. TS LAWCET 2026 rank card and hall ticket
  2. Class 10 marksheet and pass certificate
  3. Class 12 marksheet and pass certificate
  4. Qualifying degree marksheets (for those applying for the 3-year LL.B.
    course)
  5. Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate
  6. Aadhaar Card
  7. Caste certificate (for SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates)
  8. Local status or residence certificate
  9. Income certificate (if applying for tuition fee reimbursement)
  10. Special category certificates for NCC, Sports, CAP and PH

How to Register for TS LAWCET 2026 Phase 1 Counselling

The registration for open category candidates is done entirely online. Special category candidates also need to attend physical verification. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to the official website, lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in.
  2. Enter your TS LAWCET 2026 hall ticket number and rank details.
  3. Make the processing fee payment through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
  4. Upload all the required certificates in the specified format.
  5. Complete the online certificate verification and download the receipt.

Web Options and Seat Allotment Process

After verification, candidates must fill in their preference choices online from July 16 to July 19, 2026. Once the choices are locked, they cannot be changed after July 20.Seats will be allocated on July 24 based on the candidate's rank, category, and the choices they made. Selected candidates need to report online and then go to the assigned college in person between July 25 and July 28. If a candidate does not report on time, they will lose the seat they were allocated.

Here is what candidates should do:

  1. Visit lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in and start registration before July 10.
  2. Pay the processing fee, which is either Rs 800 or Rs 500, based on your category, through online payment methods.
  3. Keep clear scans of all documents ready for uploading.
  4. Attend the physical verification if you are in the special category (NCC, Sports, CAP, or PH).
  5. Fill in your web options from July 16 to July 19 and lock your choices.
  6. Check the seat allotment results on July 24 and report to the assigned college by July 28.
