RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT) has announced the 2026-27 Bachelor of Engineering (BE) management-quota fee details. The Bengaluru campus uploaded the information on rnsit.ac.in. The notice provides yearly fees by branch, along with payment conditions and admission requirements. Candidates aiming for direct entry through management seats can now budget accordingly. Founded in 2001, RNSIT provides eight undergraduate courses. Across departments, the total yearly intake is 2,160 seats. Management-quota options are available to applicants holding valid entrance-exam marks.

RNSIT BE Management Quota Fee Structure 2026-27

The amounts differ widely among departments. Computer Science Engineering has the top yearly rate. Civil engineering shows the smallest annual charge in the list. The table that follows presents the yearly fee for each branch

BranchAnnual Fee (Rs)
Computer Science Engineering (CSE)7,50,000
CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)6,50,000
CSE (Data Science)6,00,000
CSE (Cyber Security)6,00,000
Electronics and Communication Engineering5,00,000
Computer Science and Business Systems4,00,000
Electronics (VLSI Design)4,00,000
Electrical and Electronics Engineering3,50,000
Mechanical Engineering2,50,000
Civil Engineering1,10,000

Ways to Pay and Installment Option

For all branches, RNSIT permits paying the fee in two parts. Civil engineering is the sole case where the complete amount is required at once. Payment can be made via cheque, demand draft, NEFT, RTGS, or online transfer. The institute does not accept cash on campus under any circumstance. Those seeking funding may choose an EMI arrangement as well. This option is provided via the institute’s partner, GrayQuest. It lets families distribute the cost over multiple months.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have passed Class 12 or the 2nd PU exam. Admission requires physics and mathematics as mandatory subjects. In addition, one elective must be chosen from chemistry, biotechnology, computer science, biology, or electronics. Admission also requires a valid entrance test score. RNSIT considers Karnataka CET, COMEDK, and JEE Main results. Alternatively, candidates may appear for the institute’s RNSAT exam.

Scholarships on Merit for Management-Quota Students

Merit scholarships are available at RNSIT for those admitted through the management quota. The benefit is adjusted against the yearly fee payable. To keep the scholarship each year, students need to sustain a specified minimum CGPA.

Admission Document Checklist

At the time of admission, applicants must bring a specified collection of documents. Students from Karnataka must provide the SSLC card, PUC card, and entrance-rank card. They are also required to submit a transfer certificate and a seven-year study certificate. A copy of Aadhaar and five passport-size photos are required too. Students from outside Karnataka must provide the identical documents. Instead of the study certificate, they must provide a migration certificate.

Applying for RNSIT Management Quota Seats

To start, interested applicants should go to the official RNSIT admissions site. For ease, the admissions office remains available on Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates may either complete the online enquiry form or come to the campus in person. Those who are shortlisted are contacted for verification and fee submission.

Next Steps for Applicants

  1. Go to the official admissions page on rnsit.ac.in.
  2. Review the fee list by branch and choose your desired course.
  3. Verify that you meet the criteria and keep your entrance scorecard available.
  4. Collect every needed document, including mark sheets and certificates.
