The Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) has started accepting applications for the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Management Quota Admission for the 2026-27 academic year on its official website at msit.in. Candidates who meet the criteria can apply online through the designated portal until July 31, 2026. MSIT is a self-funded institute affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) located in Delhi. It has received NAAC Grade A accreditation and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Branches Offered Under Management Quota

MSIT offers management quota seats in four B.Tech. programs for the 2026-27 session. Lateral entry opportunities are also available for three of these programs at the second-year level.

  • Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Lateral entry into the second year is available for CSE, IT, and ECE. This pathway is designed for eligible diploma holders looking to directly enter the BTech program.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Applicants must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
According to the admission rules for the quota, they should have scored at least 80% in their Class 12 board exams. Applicants must also have taken the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). The final merit list for management quota seats is based on the aggregate marks from the Class 12 board examination.

How to Apply for the MSIT Management Quota 2026-27?

The application form is available on the official MSIT website. Candidates need to fill and submit the form online before the deadline. Here are the steps:
