The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has activated the web-options filling window for candidates seeking admission to the 5-year integrated LLB courses. The portal is currently open for eligible candidates to submit their college preferences for both CAP Round 1 and Round 2. The window, which opened yesterday, August 1, 2025, will close tomorrow, August 3, 2025.

This is a critical and time-sensitive step in the admission process. Candidates who have a confirmed final merit rank must log in to the official portal, llb5cap25.mahacet.org, to fill out their choice of colleges and courses in their preferred order.

What Aspirants Must Know About This Process:

The web-options form allows candidates to list their desired colleges and courses. The seat allotment in CAP Round 1 will be conducted based on these submitted preferences, in conjunction with the candidate's merit rank and category.

  • Final Merit List: The final merit list for Round 1 of the 5-Year LLB program was released on July 30, 2025, after a brief period for grievance redressal.
  • Upcoming Allotment: The provisional seat allotment for CAP Round 1 is scheduled to be published on August 6, 2025.
  • Subsequent Steps: After the allotment, candidates will have a window to accept their seat, pay the fees, and report to the allotted institute between August 7 and August 9, 2025.

Candidates are strongly advised to meticulously fill in as many college options as possible to maximize their chances of securing a seat. The order of preference is extremely important as it will be the primary factor for seat allocation.
