The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has revised the schedule for the NEET UG Round 2 counselling for 2024. The choice filling process is currently ongoing and will remain open until September 24, 2024.

Key Dates and Details

  • Choice Filling: Candidates can fill their choices for seat allotment until September 24, 2024. This is a critical stage where students must carefully select their preferred colleges and courses based on their merit.
  • Downloading Allotment Letters: The provisional seat allotment letters for Round 2 will be available for download from September 27 to October 5, 2024. This letter is essential for candidates as it confirms their allotted seats.
  • Round 3 Applications: According to the new schedule, the online application form submission for Round 3 will be open from October 2 to October 10, 2024. This provides an opportunity for new candidates to participate in the counselling process if they missed earlier rounds.

Importance of the Counselling Process

The NEET UG counselling process is crucial for aspiring medical students as it determines their admission into MBBS and BDS programs across various colleges in Jharkhand. Candidates must ensure they meet all deadlines and follow the necessary procedures to secure their desired seats.

The JCECEB conducts this counselling to facilitate a smooth admission process, ensuring that all eligible candidates have a fair chance at securing a place in medical colleges based on their NEET scores and preferences.

As the counselling progresses, it is vital for candidates to stay updated with any changes or announcements from the JCECEB regarding the counselling process.
