The West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVESD) has officially commenced the JEXPO 2025 Round 2 admission and document verification process today, September 7, 2025. This marks a vital step for thousands of polytechnic aspirants who were allotted seats in the second phase of counselling.

Crucial Deadlines for Admissions

Candidates who have received a seat in the Round 2 allotment, which was released yesterday, must complete all necessary formalities within the specified timeframe. The deadline for the physical admission and document verification process at the respective allotted institutes is September 9, 2025. Any failure to complete this step will result in the forfeiture of the seat.

Mandatory Steps to Secure Your Seat

Aspirants are required to visit the college they have been allotted in person. They must carry all original documents, along with self-attested photocopies, for verification. The key documents required for this stage include:

  • The JEXPO 2025 provisional allotment letter.
  • Class 10th mark sheet and admit card.
  • Caste/category certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable).
  • Valid photo ID proof.

A successful document verification process followed by the payment of admission fees will confirm the final seat for the candidate. It is highly recommended that students arrive at the colleges well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.

With the high competition for seats, especially in popular polytechnic diploma courses, this two-day window is the final opportunity for many students to begin their academic journey.
