The Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has released the second round of seat allotment results for 2026. The result is available on the official website at jeecup.admissions.nic.in, and the council shared it on July 10, 2026. Candidates who have been allotted seats can check their results by logging in with their application number and password. The portal will display the assigned institute, course, and category rank. It is important for students to download and save the allotment letter securely. The second round allotment is based on the choices students submitted before July 9, 2026. If a candidate accepts the allotted seat, they must confirm their acceptance by making an online payment. The deadline for confirming the seat is July 13, 2026.

How to check the JEECUP 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result? 

  1. Visit the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
  2. Click on the link for the Round 2 seat allotment result on the homepage.
  3. Enter your application number, password, and the security code shown.
  4. View the details of the assigned institute, course, and category on the screen.
  5. Download the allotment letter and keep a printout for future reference.

Payment for seat acceptance can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. The council only accepts online payments for the seat acceptance fee.

What are the Freeze, Float, and Withdraw options?

"Freeze" means the candidate is accepting the assigned seat. Float allows the candidate to stay active for Round 3. Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotment can withdraw before July 15, 2026. The physical reporting process for candidates is scheduled from July 11 to July 14, 2026. Candidates must bring the allotment letter, admit card, and rank card. Original mark sheets, domicile certificate, category certificate, and other necessary documents are also required.

  • Printed copy of the JEECUP 2026 allotment letter
  • JEECUP 2026 admit card and rank card
  • Original mark sheets for Class 10 and Class 12
  • Domicile certificate if you are an Uttar Pradesh candidate
  • Category certificate if you are in a reserved category
  • Photo identity proof such as Aadhaar or PAN card
  • Recent passport-sized photographs for admission records

Action plan for candidates

  1. Log in to jeecup.admissions.nic.in and download the allotment letter.
  2. Decide whether to freeze, float, or withdraw based on the seat allotted.
  3. Pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 3250 by July 13, 2026.
  4. Gather all original documents and self-attested photocopies before reporting.
  5. Report to the assigned institute between July 11 and July 14, 2026.
