The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has started using its new Kochi Campus. The opening ceremony was held on July 19, 2026. The campus is located in Kalamassery, near the Cochin University Metro Station. The new campus is called the Gurukula Urban Learning Centre. Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, the Director of IIMK, officially opened the campus. Shri Loknath Behera was the guest of honor at the function. He is the Managing Director of Kochi Metro Rail Ltd. This new center is part of IIMK's 30th anniversary year in 2026.
Programmes Offered at the New Kochi Campus
The new Kochi Campus will host two IIMK flagship programs right from the start. Both programs were previously held at the Infopark satellite center in Kakkanad. Now, they will be conducted at the new Kalamassery location.

Location and Metro Connectivity
The Kalamassery site is next to the Cochin University Metro Station. It is directly connected to the Kochi metro rail network. Also, a national highway runs close to the campus. This makes it easy for working professionals and students to reach the campus daily.
IIMK Kochi Journey So Far
IIMK began its presence in Kochi in 2012 at Infopark, Kakkanad. This center operated for fourteen years as a satellite unit. It became a major center for executive education in Kerala. The EPGP program has been running from Kochi since 2013 without any break.
