How to Check the HPCET 2026 Second Allotment Result?

Candidates should follow these steps on July 24 to view their provisional seat allocation. The login details are the same as those used during counselling registration.

  1. Visit the official HPTU website at himtu.ac.in.
  2. Click on the HPCET 2026 counselling link on the homepage.

  4. Select the MBA or MCA second allotment result link.
  5. View the allotted institute, branch and category rank.
  6. Download the allotment letter and save a printout for records.

How to Confirm the Allotted Seat?

Allotment alone does not guarantee admission. Candidates must complete the acceptance procedures within the reporting window announced with the result. The confirmation fee has to be paid online through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. Candidates then need to report to the allotted institute with their original documents for verification and admission.

Documents Required at Reporting

  1. HPCET 2026 scorecard and rank card
  2. Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
  3. Graduation degree and marksheets for MBA and MCA
  4. Category certificate, if applicable
  5. Domicile certificate for Himachal Pradesh candidates
  6. Recent passport-size photographs
  7. Provisional seat allotment letter
  8. Valid photo identity proof

What Happens if a Candidate Skips Reporting?

Candidates who fail to pay the fee or report within the deadline will lose the allotted seat. The vacant seats then move to the third round of counselling scheduled for August 2026.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to himtu.ac.in on July 24, 2026 to check the allotment.
  2. Download the provisional allotment letter and verify the details.
  3. Arrange the online confirmation fee before the payment deadline.
  4. Keep all original academic and category documents ready.
  5. Report at the allotted institute within the notified reporting window.
  6. Track the official notice board for Round 3 dates if not satisfied.
