Galgotias University has entered into an MoU with Felix Hospital in Greater Noida to boost clinical learning, hands-on training, and professional exposure for learners in allied health sciences and nursing courses. Through this tie-up, the intent is to connect academic instruction with day-to-day healthcare work by offering organized clinical learning, required internships, and direct practice within a hospital setting. This arrangement is expected to mainly support students from the School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS) and the School of Nursing, helping them build practical abilities under seasoned medical staff while serving in multispecialty hospitals accredited by NABH.

Students Will Gain Clinical Experience and Internship Opportunities

Under this association, students will take part in planned clinical exposure along with obligatory internship tracks at Felix Hospital. The plan is meant to ensure graduates strengthen real-world abilities in parallel with their academic understanding.

Students will be provided:

  1. Planned clinical exposure within hospital environments
  2. Required internships in different healthcare units
  3. Competency-focused clinical learning
  4. Practical training with advanced medical technology
  5. Working knowledge of NABH quality benchmarks
  6. Instruction in patient-safety procedures and professional care practices

Partnership Spans Several Healthcare Fields

This MoU offers advantages to learners registered in multiple allied health programs at Galgotias University. Students in the disciplines listed below will obtain clinical exposure tailored to their specialties:

  • Physiotherapy
  • Cardiovascular Technology
  • Medical Laboratory Sciences
  • Optometry
  • Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology

The university stated that learners will add hospital-based practice to their classroom study at Felix Hospital’s multispecialty units, giving them the chance to engage with contemporary diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.

Stronger Clinical Preparation for Nursing Students

The tie-up also reinforces clinical learning for those enrolled in the B.Sc. Nursing course. Prior to entering wards, nursing students are trained in Galgotias University’s advanced nursing simulation lab, where they rehearse clinical techniques, emergency actions, and patient-care tasks using high-fidelity simulation mannequins. With the Felix Hospital partnership, students will be able to transfer these abilities into real clinical contexts while working alongside experienced nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Emphasis on Workforce-Ready Healthcare Graduates

The university said that participants in this program will build skills that match the curriculum set by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP). In addition to internships and ward postings, the collaboration will further encourage:

  • Collaborative research efforts
  • Academic workshops
  • Ongoing professional development programs
  • Cross-disciplinary learning
  • Engagement between faculty and industry

These efforts are anticipated to strengthen students’ technical capability, ethical awareness, communication ability, and overall readiness for professional practice.

University Underscores Value of Hands-On Learning

Commenting on the association, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, stated that healthcare training has real value only when academic study is backed by direct patient-care experience. He added that this partnership would support students in moving from simulation-led learning to genuine bedside practice, helping them finish their studies as capable and self-assured healthcare professionals.

Felix Hospital’s Medical Facilities

Felix Hospital runs two NABH-recognized multispecialty hospitals in Greater Noida, together offering around 400 beds. Under this partnership, students will encounter a wide range of clinical cases while working in a professional hospital setting supported by up-to-date healthcare facilities.

Advancing Healthcare Education

This MoU strengthens Galgotias University’s continuing work to improve healthcare education through collaboration with industry and engagement with communities. The university has also carried out regional healthcare outreach, including work to enhance physiotherapy and rehabilitation resources at the Community Health Centre in Dadha, Greater Noida, alongside the district health administration.

Getting Students Ready for Healthcare Roles

As the need for trained allied health professionals and nurses grows across India, this partnership is expected to raise students’ job prospects by offering earlier clinical exposure and training aligned with industry needs. The university expects the step will leave graduates better equipped for work in hospitals, diagnostic centers, rehabilitation units, and other healthcare organizations while supporting stronger standards of patient care.
