The School of Management Studies, CUSAT, has released the provisional list of candidates who have been shortlisted for the personal interview round of MBA admissions for 2026. Shortlisted candidates can download their names from the official admission portal. The interviews are planned to be held from 3rd June 2026 to 8th June 2026, with different time slots on the campus of the School of Management Studies in Kochi. The personal interview is a key part of the MBA admissions process. During the interview, students will be assessed on their academic background, communication abilities, awareness of current events, and reasons for wanting to pursue an MBA. Each shortlisted candidate has been assigned a specific date and time for their interview.

Download the CUSAT MBA Interview Shortlist for Admission 2026

  • First, candidates can apply for the MBA programme by downloading the interview shortlist from the official website.
  • They need to register by entering their login details, such as their registration number and date of birth.
  • The shortlist includes details like the candidate's name, registration number, gender, and reservation category.

Applicants should check that all the information on the shortlist is correct and then take a printed copy of it. When attending the interview, candidates must bring all original certificates and their copies, including academic, sports, and professional certificates and mark sheets. In addition, they should also carry the printed copy of the MBA interview shortlist, the admit card, and certificates related to extracurricular activities and professional achievements.

Process and Criteria for CUSAT MBA Interview

The personal interview will mainly focus on assessing the candidate's academic background, awareness of current events, communication abilities, and career goals. The interviewers may ask questions related to the candidate's field of study, their career plans, and the reasons they are interested in pursuing an MBA. The interview is expected to take around 15 to 20 minutes for each candidate.

Advice for Preparing for the CUSAT MBA Personal Interview 

Students should go over their undergraduate subjects again and stay updated with what's happening in business and the economy. They should also prepare to talk about their strengths, weaknesses, achievements, and future life goals. It is important to arrive at the interview location at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

Future of Students Admitted to the Program

The final list of selected candidates is expected to be released soon after all the interview rounds in June 2026. Once selected, students need to go through the online counselling and admission process on the official CUSAT admissions website. Shortlisted candidates should download their interview list and check the interview date and time carefully. Students coming from outside Kochi should make sure they arrive on time and have arranged for travel and accommodation in advance. Students must attend the interview on the scheduled date and time without any delay.
