The exam will happen on December 6, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The registration process for CLAT 2027 starts on August 3, 2026, and ends on October 31, 2026. The exam format and topics will be the same as before, and the test will be taken in a paper-based way with pen and paper.

CLAT 2027 Exam Pattern
The Consortium has kept the same structure for CLAT UG and CLAT PG exams. For CLAT UG 2027, the paper will have 120 multiple-choice questions. The exam will last two hours and will have a total of 120 marks. Each correct answer is worth one mark, and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. The CLAT PG 2027 paper will also have 120 questions, all of which will be multiple-choice, and it will follow the same scoring rules.
Who Is Eligible for CLAT 2027?
CLAT UG 2027 is for students who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam. Students who are appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2027 can also apply. There is no upper age limit for this exam. CLAT PG 2027 is for those who have completed an LL.B.
degree.Students in their final year of an LL.B.course can also apply. The CLAT 2027 application fee is not refundable. Candidates must pay it online through the official CLAT website.
