Candidates who have passed the CG PET 2026 exam can now register, choose their preferred colleges and branches, and lock these choices. A non-refundable counseling fee of Rs 300 is required per candidate, which can be paid online using net banking, debit card, or credit card. CG PET is a state-level entrance exam for admission into government and private engineering colleges in Chhattisgarh. Engineering seats are filled through state quota systems across 45 participating colleges.

Who Can Apply?

Only those who have qualified in the CG PET 2026 exam are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a minimum of 45% aggregate in their Class 12 exams. Candidates belonging to reserved categories must have at least 40% marks. To be eligible for state quota seats, applicants must provide a valid Chhattisgarh domicile certificate.
Category certificates must be issued by the appropriate authority and should be valid.

How Does Choice Filling and Seat Allotment Work?

After registration, candidates must select their preferred colleges and branches. The order of their choices must be locked before the deadline. Once locked, these choices cannot be changed later. Seat allotment is based on CG PET merit, category, and the locked preferences. Candidates who are allotted a seat must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allocated institute on time.
