The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, known as BCECEB, has announced the DCECE 2026 Round 2 seat allocation outcome for the Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination. Candidates who have been assigned seats may view their status on the official portal, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Verification of papers and admission formalities are scheduled for July 23 and 24, 2026. DCECE functions as a Bihar state entrance test used for entry into polytechnic and diploma courses. The second round includes the PE, PM, and PMM (paramedical-dental, matric level) options. Those chosen are required to appear at the institute they were assigned within the two-day reporting period. A fee of Rs 1,000 is payable only via demand draft. The draft must be made payable to the principal of the assigned institute. No reporting location will accept cash. If a candidate does not report by July 24, 2026, the assigned seat will be forfeited. In addition, they will not be eligible for admission in this round.

How Can You View the DCECE 2026 Round 2 Seat Allocation Result?

  1. Open the BCECEB website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
  2. From the home page, select the link for DCECE 2026 Round 2 seat allocation.
  3. Sign in by providing your roll number and password.
  4. On the screen, review the assigned institute, course branch, and category details.
  5. Save the allocation letter and print it three times for reporting.

Papers Needed at the Reporting Centre

Applicants must bring originals and also one photocopy set of these items:

  • Application form printout (Part A and Part B)
  • DCECE 2026 hall ticket plus rank card
  • Seat allocation letter (three hard copies)
  • Six latest passport-sized photos
  • Class 10 certificate and mark sheet
  • Class 12 or equivalent mark sheet, where relevant
  • Aadhaar card in original with a copy
  • School leaving or transfer certificate
  • Bihar residence or domicile certificate
  • Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EBC/EWS applicants
  • Conduct/character certificate from the last attended institution
  • Refugee certificate, where relevant
  • Demand Draft of Rs 1,000 payable to the Principal of the assigned institute

How to Finalize Admission After Seat Allocation?

On the assigned reporting date, candidates must go to the allotted institute carrying the complete document set. Staff at the institute will cross-check each document with the originals. Once verification is done, candidates must hand over the Rs 1,000 Demand Draft to finish admission. After both checks and fee submission are completed, the seat will stand confirmed for the present admission session. If a candidate is given a better seat in a sliding round, they must again undergo verification and admission steps at the new institute.
