The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has started accepting online applications for the PG Spot Round 2026 admissions on their official admission website at admission.bhu.ac.in. The registration period began on July 10, 2026, and will end on July 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Those applying for the first time must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 to submit their application. The Spot Round is designed to fill any remaining seats after the regular counseling rounds. It is available to candidates who haven't registered earlier, those who were waitlisted, those who couldn't pay the seat fee on time, or those who voluntarily withdrew from previous rounds. However, candidates who already have a confirmed seat or have selected the "FREEZE" option in the regular rounds are not eligible to participate in this round. According to the official notice, the allotment in the Spot Round will strictly follow the merit-based criteria based on the CUET (PG) 2026 scores. Programs that require group discussions, personal interviews, practical tests, or performance-based assessments are not part of the Spot Round and will continue through their regular admission process.
