Candidates have until June 28, 2026, to apply. The next step, called the Personal Interaction round, will take place from June 29 to July 3, 2026. This admission cycle includes the Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) BSc BEd. APU is a private not-for-profit institution with campuses in Bengaluru and Bhopal.

The university offers fourteen four-year honors programs in science and arts streams. It also offers the Integrated Teacher Education Program. 

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Applicants must have completed Class 12 from a recognized board. The minimum overall percentage required is 55%. APU also accepts AIU-certified equivalent qualifications from other education systems. For the ITEP program, the university accepts NCET-ITEP scores. For other undergraduate programs, APU accepts CUET-UG and SAT scores. Some BSc streams also accept JEE Main, NEET, or KCET scores. IISER and NEST scores are also valid for science streams.

How Will Candidates Be Selected?

Selection at Azim Premji University follows a structured multi-stage process. Candidates first apply online through the portal. They then take an entrance test or submit their external scores. Shortlisted candidates are invited for the Personal Interaction round. The personal interaction can be done online or in person. It evaluates the candidate's academic interests and motivation for the program. This is the final stage before admission offers are given.

What Documents Are Required for the Application?

Applicants need a recent passport-sized photograph in digital format. They must upload their Class 12 mark sheet or interim results. Valid ID proof, like Aadhaar or PAN, is also required. ITEP applicants must also upload their NCET-ITEP scorecard.

What Is the Application Fee and Payment Mode?

Candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 500. This fee is paid online when submitting the application form on the portal. APU accepts payment through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.Offline payments are not available for this admission cycle.
