The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released the Round 1 counselling schedule for West Bengal NEET UG 2026 admissions. Candidates can check the detailed counselling information on the official website, wbmcc.nic.in. The Round 1 registration process will begin on August 13 and continue until August 16, 2026. The counselling process will be conducted for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses under the West Bengal state counselling system. It covers seats in government and private medical and dental colleges. A total of 7,200 seats are available through the counselling process this year. The counselling includes state quota seats in government medical and dental colleges, along with management quota and NRI seats in private institutions.

Candidates must have qualified for the NEET UG 2026 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates must fulfil the required West Bengal domicile criteria.
