3. Open the Round 3 choice-filling section from the candidate dashboard.
4. Select your preferred colleges and BTech branches.

7. Lock the choices before 2 PM on August 16, 2026.

Candidates should check the available vacant seats and previous cut-off ranks before finalising their preferences. Once the choice-filling deadline passes, changes may not be permitted.

What Happens After Seat Allotment?

Candidates who receive a seat in Round 3 will have to select an appropriate decision through the COMEDK portal.

1. Accept and Freeze

The candidate accepts the allotted seat and proceeds with admission. Such candidates must report to the allotted college within the prescribed timeline.

2. Accept and Upgrade

This option is not available in the final round of counselling.

3. Reject

The candidate rejects the allotted seat and exits the counselling process without accepting the seat.

4. No Action

If the candidate does not take the required action within the deadline, the allotted seat will be treated as rejected and the candidate will exit the counselling process. The decision must be submitted online by 4 PM on August 21, 2026. Missing the deadline can result in the loss of the allotted seat.

Who Can Report to the Allotted College?

Only candidates with an Accept and Freeze status can proceed to report to their allotted college. Candidates must report in person with the required documents within the specified reporting period. They should also check the working hours of the allotted college before travelling, particularly around Saturdays and public holidays. Late reporting may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to Cancel an Allotted Seat?
