How to Check the MAH MArch CET CAP 2026 Provisional Merit List?

The merit list can only be viewed through the candidate's dashboard. To access it, candidates need to log in using their application number and password. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official CAP portal at march2026.mahacet.org.in.
  2. Click on the “Candidate Login” link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your MAH MArch CET application number and password.
  4. Open the “Provisional Merit List” tab from the dashboard.
  5. Check your merit number, exam score, category, and personal details.
  6. Download or print the merit list for future use.

How to Raise Objections Against the Provisional Merit List?

Candidates who find any mistakes in their details can file objections online. The grievance period ends on August 14, 2026. The CET Cell will not accept offline complaints.

  1. Log in to the candidate portal at march2026.mahacet.org.in.
  2. Open the “Grievance” or “Objection” tab in the dashboard.
  3. Select the specific error you have found.
  4. Upload proper supporting documents to back your claim.
  5. Submit the objection and save the acknowledgment for future reference.
  6. You can raise objections on the following details:
  7. Incorrect merit number or CAP rank
  8. Wrong MAH MArch CET score
  9. Mismatch in category or reservation status
  10. Missing EWS, TFWS, PWD, or defence tags
  11. Errors in qualifying exam marks or degree
  12. Issues with uploaded documents that are flagged or rejected

Who Should Verify the Provisional Merit List?

Every candidate who took the MAH MArch CET 2026 and registered for CAP must check their merit list. Unreported errors might affect seat allocation in later rounds. The provisional list determines your position before the final merit list is finalized. Reserved category applicants should confirm their category, EWS, and TFWS tags. PWD candidates must check their disability status. Defence quota candidates should also verify their sub-category.

What Happens After the Objection Window Closes?

After August 14, 2026, the CET Cell will review all valid grievances. Any accepted corrections will be reflected in the final merit list, which will then be used for the CAP seat allocation. Once the objection window is closed, the final merit list is considered binding for admission. All future CAP notices will be posted on the same portal.
