Candidates who have passed the NEET UG 2026 exam can now apply for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats through the central counselling process. This counselling process includes 15 percent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges. It also covers 100 percent of seats in Deemed Universities, Central Universities, AIIMS, and JIPMER at Puducherry and Karaikal. The registration and fee payment period will end on August 12, 2026. Candidates must complete their choice selection and finalize their preferences by this date to be considered for seat allotment.

Seats Offered Through MCC Counselling
Round 1 of the counselling process will allocate seats for medical, dental, and nursing courses. This year, the AIQ pool is the largest in the history of the central counselling process.

NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration Fee
Candidates must pay two components: a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. The amount depends on category and the type of participating institution.

New Changes in NEET UG Counselling 2026

- Float Option: Retain the current seat while trying for an upgrade in the next round.
