The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has released the provisional seat allotment results for the Maharashtra Bachelor of Design Common Entrance Test (MAH BDes CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 Round 1.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has released the provisional seat allotment results for the Maharashtra Bachelor of Design Common Entrance Test (MAH BDes CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 Round 1. These results are now available on the official website at bdesign2026.mahacet.org. Candidates who have been allotted a seat can check their assigned college and seat status by logging in with their Application ID and date of birth. Students who received a seat must confirm their acceptance and report to their assigned college by August 7, 2026. If they don't do this by the deadline, their seat will be automatically cancelled. This seat allotment is based on the Final Merit Lists for Maharashtra State, All India, and Defence candidates, which were published on July 30, 2026. Nine institutions have released their Round 1 seat allotment lists on the portal. Allotted students can view their college-specific allotment details.

How to check the MAH BDes CAP 2026 Round 1 allotment status
- Go to the official website at bdesign2026.mahacet.org.
- Click on "Check Provisional Allotment Status (CAP Round-I)".
- Enter your Application ID and date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
- Submit the form to see your allotted institute and seat.
- Download the allotment letter for reporting to your institute.
What should candidates do next if they have been allotted a seat
Candidates must complete the acceptance process online and then report to their assigned institute.
The reporting process includes:
- Verifying your documents
- Paying the institute fee
The deadline for finishing both steps is August 7, 2026. If you don't accept the seat before August 7, you'll lose it and won't be able to claim it in later rounds. If you want to try for a better college, you can choose the upgrade or freeze option, as per the rules.
Institute Level Option Form Window is Also Open
The online submission of the Option Form for Institute Level admissions is open from August 4 to September 5, 2026. Candidates who missed the CAP Round 1 seat or want to apply directly to institutes for any available seats can use this window.
