Can I apply to the SNPT College under Sports Quota?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The candidates who are seeking admission under sports quota must submit the online application through the ‘SPORTS QUOTA’ link. The candidates shall take the printout and submit the application with relevant documents. The selected candidates will be called for an interview and those who attend the interview are only eligible to get Sports Quota.

Are Help Desks free of cost at SNPTC?

Help Desks are for those who don’t have access to Internet facility and they are established in all Polytechnic College. The students can avail this facility which is absolutely free of cost. The process reduces the chances of error as sufficient staff are deputed to help the candidates. It is mandatory to take all the required documents.

What are the documents required while submitting the application at SNPTC?

Below are the list of documents/certificates required while submitting the application:Self-attested copy of the relevant page of the SSLC/ THSLC or equivalent examination which is required as a proof of date of birth.Self-attested copy of the mark list of SSLC/ THSLC or equivalent certificate which is required to prove the qualification.Self-attested copy of the mark list of VHSE to claim reservation under VHSE category.Self-attested copy of the mark list /certificate of ITI/KGCE to claim reservation under ITI/KGCE category.Self-attested copy of the Domicile certificate from Village Officer to claim bonus points in case of backward districts.Self-attested copy of the certificate of birth from the competent authority to prove that the applicant is a Keralite.Other respective certificates that will claim reservation under respective categories.

How much is the application fee while applying at SNPTC?

Accepted Answer

The application fee is INR 150/- for general candidates and Rs. 75/- for Scheduled Caste/ Schedule Tribe candidates. It should be submitted along the application form.

Question 5

What is the procedure of selection of candidates in SNPTC?

Accepted Answer

The candidates are selected based on the grading in SSLC/ THSLC or any equivalent examination. The marks are converted into a 9 point absolute scale such as if the student scores more than 90%, he/she will be graded as A+ and will be considered as a 9 pointer.
