The duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes. The paper will consist of 120 MCQ type questions. The candidate will get +1 for every correct answer. The questions will be based on prior knowledge acquired by the candidates in the following specializations- Organic Farming, Seed Technology, and Agriculture.

The college offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The accommodation is neat. The hostel is equipped with all the necessary facilities. The rent is also minimalistic and affordable for most of the students. The university has separate hostels for boys and girls and there are a total number of 21 Boys and 19 Girls hostels. With the capacity of accommodation of 3220 students.

The college has good industrial networks which in turn offer satisfactory placements. Companies like Godrej, HDFC Bank, Coromandel and ITC visit the campus regularly. ANGRAU also offers internship opportunities and pre-placement training to the students. The UG students have bagged placements of INR 4 LPA, whereas the 2-year PG students got the median package of INR 5 LPA.
