CLAT 2025 Counselling Dates Revised: Registration Begins Soon for Top NLUs and Non-NLUs
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has now released the modified counselling schedule for CLAT 2025, which will be held from December 11, 2024, to December 20, 2024.

New counselling schedule for CLAT 2025 is being activated by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) since December 1, 2024. This counselling process thus becomes the vital strategic step in the lives of applicants aspiring for admission in various NLUs and other institutions participating in the process.
Registration Procedure
A prospective applicant has to fill an online application form on the website of the Consortium of NLUs, consortiumofnlus.ac.in from December 11 to December 20 to be eligible to attend counselling. During this period, the candidate will be expected to submit preferences regarding admissions into various NLUs and upload relevant documents.

Admission Fees
The counselling fee of INR 30,000 for general category candidates and INR 20,000 for reserved category candidates. This fee is non-refundable, but recoverable under tender in circumstances where a candidate does not get a seat or withdraws from the process.
Seat Allotment Process
It is mentioned that seat allotment will be done in rounds with preference to the CLAT ranks from candidates and their preferences. Each candidate will have the chance to either confirm to the seat provided in the particular round or migrate to a better preference in the subsequent round or leave the process entirely.

CLAT counselling is an essential process in order to get admission in some of the well reputed colleges of the country along with NLUs. Candidates are also advised to regularly check all notification from the Consortium on counselling processes and ensure they complete their registrations on time.
