The result for the first counselling round will now be announced on August 6, 2026.The original date was July 25, 2026, but it was delayed. AIIMS delayed the first round result due to administrative issues. The updated notice now sets new dates for both counselling rounds. Both online acceptance and physical reporting will happen during the same time period. All candidates need to finish their tasks before the deadlines.

Important information from the revised notice
- The list of allotted seats will be shared as a PDF file.
- The PDF will include your roll number, overall rank, and category.
- It will also show the institute where you are allocated, the specialty, and the seat category.
- You cannot make new choices for the second round.
- Your choices from the first round will automatically be considered for the second round.
How to check the AIIMS MSc Nursing 2026 seat allotment result
- Go to the official AIIMS website at aiimsexams.ac.in.
- Find the MSc Nursing 2026 counselling section.
- Click on the link for the Round 1 seat allotment result PDF.
- Search for your roll number in the PDF.
- Note down the institute, specialty, and seat category you have been allotted.
- Download and save the PDF for future use.
What documents and fees are needed when reporting
- You must bring the Offer Letter and the Seat Allocation Letter.
- Bring all original academic certificates to the allotted institute.
- Pay the required security deposit when you report.
If you are missing an original document, you can still report.
In that case, you need to submit a demand draft of Rs 1 lakh along with photocopies of the missing certificate.
What options do candidates who have been allotted seats have
- Each candidate must choose one of two options online.
- The first option is to accept the seat and not participate in Round 2.
- The second option is to accept the seat and still be eligible for Round 2.
- If you don't choose within the deadline, you lose your seat and cannot take part in Round 2.
Candidates who are upgraded in Round 2 must take up the new seat.
If they refuse the upgraded seat, they have to pay a penalty of Rs 1 lakh.
